The PP4 is the next generation of Power Probe® Circuit Testers, now loaded with powerful Multimeter functions and advanced diagnostic test modes, an easy-to-read color LCD display and a new rugged housing. The PP4 can test for AC/DC Volts RMS & Volts Peak to Peak, Measure Resistance, Hertz, Frequency and Pulse Width PP4 can also test Fuel Injectors & supply computer safe voltage for testing Module Drivers. PP4 also works with the ECT3000.

Move from everyday voltage checks to advanced electrical analysis with dedicated modes for DC voltage, Power Feed testing, AC RMS, peak-to-peak voltage, frequency, fuel injectors, driver circuits, and ECT2000 open-circuit detection.

Power Feed Test

Measure circuit resistance and voltage drop while the circuit is powered, with battery voltage, probe-tip voltage, and total circuit resistance displayed together for faster diagnosis. This is one of the PP4 features I would emphasize heavily because it gives the product a very clear step up from the PP3 line.

Advanced component diagnostics

Analyze fuel injector operation and test electronic driver circuits without relying on basic voltage readings alone. Dedicated modes provide information such as injector on-time, inductive kick voltage, supply and ground voltage, while Driver Test supplies a current-limited signal for testing ECU-controlled circuits.
