Smart circuit tracing

Inject a signal into the problem circuit with the transmitter, then follow it through the vehicle with the receiver. The ECT3000 generates distinct signals for grounded/shorted circuits and open circuits so each type of fault can be traced appropriately.

Directional fault detection

Take the guesswork out of tracing shorts with indicators that point toward the short or ground. Adjustable receiver sensitivity helps isolate the correct circuit and reduce interference from nearby parallel wiring.

Find hidden & intermittent problems

Trace open wires, severe battery drains, and faults that only appear when wiring is moved. The transmitter can indicate circuit changes during wiggle-and-flex testing, helping expose intermittent connections that may otherwise be difficult to reproduce.
