  • Use the PPDRAWBATTERY Adapter to extend parasitic draw testing to motorcycles, boats, ATVs, classic vehicles, and other compatible battery-powered equipment without standard OBDII ports.
  • Detect unwanted battery consumption with the PPDRAW, investigate current flow through installed fuses with the DM300AUTO, and perform detailed circuit measurements to help identify the source of electrical faults.
Product description

Take automotive electrical diagnostics further with the Power Probe PPDRAWKIT05 Parasitic Draw & Electrical Diagnostic Bundle, featuring the PPDRAW Draw Monitor, PPDRAWBATTERY Adapter, and DM300AUTO Digital Multimeter.

The PPDRAW Draw Monitor allows technicians to continuously monitor battery voltage and current consumption, helping identify excessive parasitic draw and investigate intermittent electrical drains. Its 2.8-inch color display, Bluetooth connectivity, and 12V Smart Output provide convenient monitoring while helping preserve vehicle electronic memory during compatible battery disconnection procedures.

The included PPDRAWBATTERY Adapter expands testing beyond standard OBDII-equipped vehicles, providing direct alligator-clamp battery connections for motorcycles, ATVs, boats, forklifts, classic vehicles, and other battery-powered equipment.

For deeper electrical troubleshooting, the DM300AUTO Digital Multimeter provides True RMS measurements, fuse current testing without removing fuses, and guided automotive diagnostics for battery cranking and alternator charging systems. Together, these tools allow technicians to monitor battery drain, identify affected circuits, and investigate the underlying electrical problem with greater flexibility.

MONITOR THE DRAW. TEST THE CIRCUIT. FIND THE FAULT.

MONITOR BATTERY DRAIN

Identify unwanted current consumption with real-time current and voltage monitoring. The PPDRAW features a 2.8-inch color display, graphical waveform viewing, and Bluetooth connectivity through the Power Probe Link App. Its rechargeable battery also provides backup power to help preserve vehicle electronic memory during compatible battery service.

EXPAND YOUR TESTING OPTIONS

Perform parasitic draw diagnostics beyond conventional OBDII-equipped vehicles. The PPDRAWBATTERY Adapter converts the monitor's OBDII interface into direct alligator-clamp battery connections, enabling testing on compatible motorcycles, ATVs, boats, forklifts, classic vehicles, and other equipment without standard diagnostic ports.

DIAGNOSE ELECTRICAL FAULTS

Go beyond battery drain monitoring with advanced True RMS electrical measurements and guided automotive diagnostic functions. The DM300AUTO allows technicians to measure current across installed fuses without removing them, perform fuse voltage-drop testing, and evaluate battery cranking and alternator charging performance. Additional voltage, resistance, continuity, frequency, and duty-cycle measurements provide the versatility needed for detailed circuit troubleshooting.
