The IRGUN500 Non-Contact Thermometer detects the infrared rays that an object emits. The instrument focuses the infrared energy of the object through the lens and onto a sensor. As a result, the instrument changes the surface temperature into an electrical signal, and a microcomputer calculates and displays the measured temperature on the LCD

Laser-guided 10:1 targeting

Use the single-spot laser to aim at the area you want to measure, with a 10:1 distance-to-spot ratio for better control over your measurement area.

MIN, MAX & AVG tracking

Monitor temperature changes while scanning with current, minimum, maximum, and average readings available directly on the display. The PPIR500 also includes a backlight and selectable °C/°F readings for easier use in different working conditions.
